Free 911 Event in Orlando, FL

The annual 9/11 Military and Public Safety Tribute Event is a unique opportunity for the public to educate themselves and appreciate the men and women in uniform that put themselves in harm’s way.

Our goal is to create awareness of the different  military branches and public safety organizations as well as many non-profit organizations that support them and what they do.

This event allows the public to interact with our heroes and those that assist our heroes.   Attendees will be able to ask questions about the different organizations and learn how they can help by donating time or money.

In 2012 we brought you our 1st Annual 9/11 Tribute in Baldwin Park.  Our event was themed around aviation.  We had military museums, veteran services, entertainment and much more.  Each veteran received a special gift bag and the first 150 event attendees received an event bag.

In 2013 we are moved the event to Waterford Lakes Town Center so that we can accommodate even more guests, business and non-profits.  We had two terrific title sponsors Carl Black Chevrolet and East Orlando Harley Davidson.

in 2014 we increased the number of events scheduled, now titled "Patriotic Tributes" which will be hosted in East Orlando.  Avalon Park hosted our 3rd Annual 9/11 Tribute.  We had the support of Semper Fidelis and other military, police and fire non-profit support organizations.

in 2015 we are headed back to Waterford Lakes Town Center.  That year The Southeast Post covered the story and provided a section of the paper devoted to our Tribute.  We also had a news reporter cover the story and interview one of our local military heroes.

in 2016 we are scheduled back at Avalon Park Town Park.  This year we have decided to share our event with the heroes from Pulse.  We encourage the community to share their stories and post nominations for hero recognition on this blog or facebook page.
